London City Lionesses have completed the signing of Sweden forward Rosa Kafaji from Women's Super League rivals Arsenal. Kafaji joined the Gunners in August 2024 from BK Hacken and scored her only WSL goal for the club in a 2-0 victory at West Ham that October. After struggling for regular minutes at the Emirates Stadium, Kafaji spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Brighton, netting twice in 19 WSL appearances for the Seagulls. Now, she has penned a three-year deal with the ambitious Lionesses, who have made headlines by bringing in two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas and former England goalkeeper Mary Earps ahead of their second season in the WSL.
